The purpose of the Workforce and Organisational Development (OD) Committee is to provide advice to the Board on all matters relating to the staff and staffing of the UHB. It will also provide assurance to the Board for all issues relating to human resources and organisational development.

Equality Strategy Steering Group
The Workforce and OD Committee has established the Equality Strategy Steering Group. The purpose of this Group is embed Equality, Diversity and Human Rights (EDHR) across the organisation and its range of activities: service access / delivery, employment practice, patient and public involvement, commissioning services and partnership arrangements.
The Workforce and OD Committee receives a summary report from each meeting of the Equality Strategy Steering Group.
