Aim of Ward

We aim to provide rehabilitation for patients to enable them to achieve their maximum potential to give them best possible outcomes prior to their discharge.

What we do

The ward is patient and family/carer focused, providing continuity of care, and partnership working with the multi-disciplinary team.

Recent developments are Patient Own Medications (POMs), goal setting and teaching programmes.

The ward plays a key role in supporting patients to optimise their recovery and also supports care. 

Ward 6 provides patients with an excellence of rehabilitation nursing and therapy input. It was purposely designed on the ground floor surrounded by landscaped grounds.
