Sam Davies Ward is situated on the 1st floor of Barry Hospital.
What to bring
In order to make your stay as comfortable as possible please ensure that you have the following items:-
- Day Clothes
- Nightwear
- Underwear
- Toiletries
- Well fitting shoes
- Well fitting slippers.
Clothes washing facilities
There are no laundry facilities in the hospital. Please ensure that all clothing is labelled.
Visiting times
Visiting times are between 2pm - 5pm and 6pm - 8pm. Visiting outside these hours can be arranged with the Ward Sister.
We operate a 'Protected Mealtimes' policy so visitors are encouraged not to come in during mealtimes (see below) unless they come to help patient to eat.
Meal times
Breakfast: 08:15
Mid-morning tea/coffee and biscuits
Lunch: 12:15
Mid-afternoon tea/coffee and biscuits
Supper: 17:15 - 17:30
Valuables
On admission we strongly advise that you do not bring any valuables into hospital. If you do, you will be required to sign a
