Regional Stroke Unit

Aim of the Regional Stroke Unit

To help people recover following a stroke and encourage the patient and family/carer to be actively involved in the rehabilitation process.

What we do

We help patients receive rehabilitation to enable them to achieve their maximum potential and give them the best possible outcomes. Our multi-disciplinary team plays a key role in supporting patients to optimise their recovery and also supports carers, whilst encouraging the development of staff members. Staff encourage the participation of relatives/carers in the discharge planning of patients.
