Urgent clinical advice
Dr Badminton can be contacted for advice on immediate treatment.
Routine clinical referral
A referral letter should be sent to Dr Badminton at the Cardiff Porphyria Service. Patients will then be assigned either to the adult or paediatric metabolic clinics, run in conjunction with Dr Shortland, or to the Dermatology clinic, run in conjunction with Dr Anstey.
Urgent sample advice
Urgent analyses can be discussed with staff in the routine laboratory. We will provide advice to ensure that the appropriate samples are sent to the laboratory for analysis in a timely manner.
