Phlebotomy

The UHB Phlebotomy Service provides a service to wards and clinics at the University Hospital of Wales (UHW),  University Hospital Llandough (UHL), Whitchurch Hospital, Barry Hospital and Cardiff Royal Infirmary (CRI) West Wing, as well as Health Centres and General Medical Practices in the Cardiff and Vale Health Board area.

On average, the Phlebotomy Service takes blood from more than 500,000 patients each year.

The Service is certified by the British Standards Institute to ISO9001:2008 quality standards.
