Sessions at both Antenatal clinics are either Consultant or Midwife Led. The consultant antenatal clinics are provided for women with high-risk pregnancies.
Your first visit to the antenatal clinic will normally be at 12 weeks. This visit is to confirm your expected date by undertaking a "dating" scan. By reviewing your medical and obstetric notes at this appointment we can ensure you receive the appropriate level of care from the midwives and obstetricians.
Please bring along your handheld notes and a specimen of urine to each hospital appointment.

Antenatal Day Unit
The Unit is based in the Antenatal Clinic and is open Monday to Friday. It provides extra support and monitoring for women whose pregnancies are high risk. Women are referred to the Unit by their Consultant Obstetrician.
