Ivar is a Chartered Accountant and was partner in KPMG until he retired in 2002. He is currently a Non Executive Director of Finance Wales PLC, a member of the Competition Commission, a Governor and Trustee of Port Regis School, a director of Kids in the Middle, a community interest company promoting family relationships, advises various businesses and also acts as an expert witness in financial matters.
Ivar’s previous positions also include acting as a financial consultant to Princes Trust Cymru from 2002 to 2004 and as a Non Executive Director and finally Chair of Gwent Healthcare NHS Trust from 2006 to 2009. He has the non-exec lead for finance at Cardiff
