Grand Round

 

The Grand Round is a 1-hour meeting where there are two case presentations, typically one from medicine and one from surgery, and there is usually a lively discussion after each case. Occasionally there are case presentation competitions for junior doctors or specifically for F1/F2 and we have also had successful debates and "Question Time".

 

The UHW Grand Round is held each Wednesday lunchtime during term time in UHW Lecture Theatre 2 (lunch provided) and is attended by about 100 doctors from a large variety of specialties.

The Llandough Grand Round is held the first Friday of each month over the lunchtime during term time in UHL Education Centre, Lecture Rooms 1 & 2 (lunch provided).
