| Fiona trained as a physiotherapist in Salford, qualifying in 1980. She undertook clinical and junior managerial posts within West Wales, before moving to Fiona was awarded a Fellowship of Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) for her services to management in 2006, and is also a former Council Member and Vice President of the CSP. Fiona has both led, and been involved with, a large number of service improvement projects, several of which have been award-winning. She has extensive experience of care pathway development and service re-design across the health economy. Fiona completed the INSEAD NHS / Leadership Centre Clinical Strategists’ Programme at the Business School in Fontainebleau Paris, holds an MA (Distinction) in Management ( She lectures both nationally and internationally, leads master-classes and workshops, and gives presentations on management and leadership topics and service re-design. She has undertaken AHP service management reviews, research and surveys, and is also co-editor of a series of management books: The Allied Health Professions Essential Guides. |
