Elizabeth Ward is situated on the first floor of West Wing Hospital and has lift and stair access.
What to Bring
Patients will be asked to supply the following to make their stay more comfortable:
- Day Clothes
- Nightwear
- Underwear
- Toiletries
- A pair of well fitting walking shoes or slippers.
Clothes washing facilities
Washing of patients' clothes should be carried out by relatives or carers. If a patient has no relatives or carers, the Named Nurse will arrange for the washing to be done.
Please ensure that all clothing is labelled.
Valuables
Money or valuables should not be brought into the hospital. However, if you wish to do so, you will be asked to sign a

Disclaimer.Visiting Times
Visiting times are between 2.00pm to 4.00pm and 6.00pm to 8.00pm. However, if family need to visit outside these hours, arrangements can be made with the Ward Sister.
We operate a 'Protected Mealtimes' policy so visitors are encouraged not to come in during mealtimes (see below) unless they come to help a patient to eat.

Breakfast: 08:30 - 09:00
Mid-morning tea/coffee and biscuits
Lunch: 12:00 - 13:00
Mid-afternoon tea/coffee and biscuits
Supper : 17:00 - 17:30
