Welcome to the Clinical Research Facility
The Clinical Research Facility (CRF) is a component of a successful Wellcome/Joint Infrastructure Fund bid. It provides a crucial facility for the translation of basic biomedical science developments into clinical practice.
The CRF provides a high quality clinical environment in which patients can undergo research programmes safely and effectively according to scientifically robust, ethically approved studies, including both clinical trials and other forms of clinical investigation.
Research carried out in the CRF is a balance of commercial and non-commercial studies in accordance with the terms of the Wellcome Trust bequest.
