Making a Difference 2 builds on the commitments made last year to deliver sustainable services that are clinically safe, provide the right model for the future and are affordable. The proposed changes are clinically led and inject a renewed level of pace into our service transformation agenda.
The UHB has made a good start in improving services and delivering consistently excellent levels of care to our patients, but now needs to make some step changes, both in how and where care is delivered. We also need to improve performance to ensure that the UHB compares well with the best, nationally and internationally and to ensure that patients have a positive experience when they are in our care.
By thinking and acting differently now, we can not only improve the way we provide patient care, we can also build strong foundations for the future.
