Important information
When a trained nurse is administering patient medicines, accuracy is vitally important.

Nurses are the last people in the chain responsible for administering drugs that others have prescribed and dispensed. As a result they are required to ensure that they administer:-
- the right drug
- to the right patient
- by the right route
- in the right quantity
- at the right time and
- then accurately document what they have done.
If you have any query, even if it is urgent please DO NOT DISTURB the nurse wearing the RED TABARD but speak with another trained nurse who will be pleased to assist.
Thank you for your co-operation
